Wild Times On The Westside!

First Sunday of every month, Webster Florida, the Webster's Westside grounds, nice swap meet is held.  Some of the vendors are the Monday regulars and the swap meet has a strong following of regular cycle item vendors as well.  Between the items brought in and the cycle and car shows, you never know what interesting and cool things you will see.  Who knows, you just might find that buddy seat for the 1972 Honda CT Trail 90 you are restoring!

Yalaha And Sloan's Ridge Ride

Another great "close in" ride path.....West Orange county, Monteverde to Ferndale CR 455, take CR 561A west just past the post office, go left at the church...  then take Sugarloaf Mtn Rd to the north (turn right) and watch out for the bicycle herds.... 

Follow that out to the real CR561, turn right, stay slow, catch Bruce Hunt Rd on your left...when that dead ends, go right to the next dead end, go left...you're on 455 again now....  dead end into 19, turn right, go slow through Howey-In-The-Hills, stay left at the light at the Mission, now you're on 48. 

Stop at the Yalaha Bakery for a good snack and coffee.... keep west on 48 to 33, turn south and then immediately go west (right with 48, down to Center Hill, go left onto C469 down to SR 50, go left (east) to Sloan's Ridge Rd, to South Bay Lake Rd, go south (right) to Empire Church turn left and stay on that until you get back out to SR 50 in Groveland......

Really nice ride, though Sloan's Ridge Rd is narrow and bit rough, but you are out in the woods....
